The Emerald Gardens development will provide contemporary London living with secluded gardens next to England’s National Stadium at Wembley. Emerald Gardens is a major phase in the redevelopment of Wembley Park and it will set the tone for the regeneration of the area; well designed, high quality homes with plenty of green space surrounding them. The 472 unit residential development is spread across 7 blocks, ranging from 6 to 17 storeys high.

The original design concept of the project included traditional bathrooms, however, it was soon realised that this had to be changed to pods. As a result of this, the drainage connections to the pods became extremely difficult. Furthermore  it was quickly realised that there was not sufficient access for air testing of the drainage system, in order to gain access, holes had to be cut in the finished building fabric. The HE Simm Construction Team worked tirelessly, around the clock, to get the drainage system ready in time for inspection by the building control officer.
