The Wembley area was earmarked for a £2.5bn regeneration scheme, to provide a new, high quality community providing places for people to live, work and unwind. The master plan for the area once complete will deliver 7,000 homes across 85 acres, creating over 8,000 new jobs in the process.

HE Simm worked in close collaboration with client John Sisk in order to deliver a high-quality installation that would meet the exacting standards of end user Quintain.  The project contained an underground car park with electric charging points, energy centre, district heating, pre-fabricated bathroom pods, back-up generator, converged fibre optic network, low-temperature water heating system, gymnasium, cinema and environmental temperature control.

Collaboration was crucial in the delivery of the bathroom pods, with the HE Simm team utilising effective techniques to ensure the buildability of the pods, increasing the progress made against programme in the process.

The end result was a project that both Sisk and Quintain were extremely pleased with.  HE Simm subsequently secured Canada Gardens, the largest construction contract awarded at Wembley Park and maintain an extremely positive working relationship with Quintain and John Sisk to this day.
